Park Bench Ranger Outpost

The space under or near the Park Bench is popular because it offers a large flat build area and immediate access to a Ranger Outpost. Current community routes also value its connection toward later areas.

The trade-off is local danger and future map direction. Scout creature paths before placing permanent storage, and build the first test platform before moving every chest.

02

Ceremony Boulder

The large rock in Ceremony offers clear elevation and a central position for the main park. High ground makes the footprint easy to defend and gives future travel lines a clean starting point.

The cost is vertical access and hauling. Build the stair, bounce, or transport plan first; a beautiful high base becomes tedious when every resource trip ends with a long climb.

03

Pond and Into the Abyss forward bases

Update 0.5 makes the Pond a real progression route across surface and underwater areas. A compact forward base near the water is useful for diving gear, healing, repair supplies, and unloading one trip.

Do not move the whole economy before the route is understood. Keep bulk crafting at the stable main base and use the Pond site as a stocked checkpoint until travel and danger are predictable.

How to choose your own location

Stand at the candidate at day and night. Check hostile paths, drinking water, food, common building materials, an outpost or travel connection, and the return route from the area you visit most.

Place a workbench, bed, two storage boxes, and a repair station as a test. Run the same resource loop three times. If travel is still annoying, move the small test base—not an entire warehouse.
