01

Treat disks as progression items

Optical Disk searches are not just collectibles: their region, access requirement, and relationship to a quest determine when the detour is worth taking. Use the map landmark and the current update label before planning a run.

The companion index currently separates named disks across areas such as the greenhouse, pumpkin patch, hedge, ice cream cart, and Sinkhole Anthill. Confirm each entry against the current game before marking it complete.

02

Use a three-column checklist

Record location, access requirement, and verified result. Add a fourth note for the return route or nearby resource so the collectible run pays for its travel time.

03

Avoid stale route claims

Into the Abyss changes the map and adds new areas. A route written before the pond opened may still name the right item but the wrong approach. Keep the update and checked date beside every entry.
